How does coaching work?
Coaching gives you an opportunity to take time out from your busy schedule to spend time thinking about what you really want and how you are going to achieve it. Coaching is a focused approach which assists you in setting appropriate objectives and the means of achieving them. A coach will work closely with you to consider your current beliefs and behaviours around work and non-work activities and help you make the changes to achieve greater integration. He/She will challenge you on your commitment to those changes and encourage you to remove obstacles to achieve them.
Coaching is a supportive environment in which you can develop your vision, clarify your goals and define precisely how you are going to attain your objectives.
Coaching brings different benefits to different people but the most important things your coach will do is provide a creative space, listen to what you want and ask well-aimed, challenging questions which encourage you to think things through. They will encourage you to be specific about where you would like to be and explore options for getting there, to choose from those options and then make it happen.
When working from an existential perspective, your coach will recognise the role of Myths, those unquestioned assumptions which limit your horizons, and put in place the right support structures so that you can deal with the anxiety that change inevitably entails. Above all, a coach is on your side and will travel your journey with you so that you can learn more about yourself and what makes you happy.

Coaching Options:
We offer a number of options in order for one to one coaching to be successful:
Option 1:
Regular (e.g. weekly) face-to-face sessions are held where you explore your work/life choices to date. The consequences of those choices in your current life are examined and further options explored. The nature and order in which topics are explored is client-led with input and direction offered by the coach.
Option 2:
Regular (e.g. monthly) face-to-face sessions are held, together with weekly telephone support to assist you in realising your set objectives. This process is valuable for people who have difficulty in attending regular face-to-face sessions or who are highly self-motivated and who do not require weekly face-to-face support.
Option 3:
Regular sessions (either face to face and/or telephone support) are held which mirror the content and order of a group workshop. The most pervasive of the Myths (The Identity Myth & The Group Myth) are fully explored in your work and personal life and include homework exercises to be done in your private time.
